Home-made preparation of lavender honey – VIDEO

This type of honey has a much stronger aroma then the “lavender-honey” collected by bees. Lavender -honey is real honey which is collected by bees from lavender fields, as opposed to lavender honey which is made of acacia-honey or assorted honey and dried lavender blossoms.

 The process of the preparation of lavender honey

The preparation is very simple. We take a glass of honey and pour about ¼ part dried lavender blossoms into it and mix them together. After this we ripen it for 1-2 weeks, then screen it. Its fragrance and flavour are equally fantastic! We can flavour tea with it or we can use it as icing on ice-creams and biscuits etc.
